Every Pomo Cradle Her Way by Janice Boyce, 2020. ISBN: 978-1-7923-4665-1. Ms Boyce was born and lived on a Rancheria in the Alexander Valley north of Healdsburg in Northern California. She grew up and went to school together with a number of children of Pomo Basketmakers. In this beautifully researched book she has focused on the significance of the Pomo Cradleboard and includes personal interviews and photographs with a number of Northern California basketmakers, most of whom have passed. While originally written for her master's thesis at the University of California, Berkeley, she has enhanced the volume with many of her own photographs of her cradleboard collection as well as photographs of museum and private collections. The president emeritus of UC wrote the forward to this exceptional work. A very limited edition has been publishded.
