This is the ideal tool for gourd carving. It is also excellent for curved cuts in wood, corrugated boards, plastics and non-ferrous metals. Power consumption 100 watt, maximum 15/64" (6mm) stroke. With its variable speed, the number of strokes may be adjusted between 2,000 and 5,000 per minute. Includes two saw blades (one coarse and one fine blade).

Note: An AC adapter of at least 12-18V DC and 1.0 A is required. Use can use either of the Proxxon power supplies NG 2/S or NG 5/E. The Caning Shop highly recommends the more powerful NG 5/E transformer if you will be cutting thick gourds.
